Farmer shot dead in Dumarao

DUMARAO, Capiz – A 55-year-old farmer was shot dead by three unidentified suspects Wednesday afternoon at Sitio Agkawayan, Barangay Astorga, Dumarao, Capiz.

Police identified the victim as Jessie Jarloc of said place who succumbed to nine gunshot wounds.

Investigation by the Dumarao PNP indicated that the victim was on his way home from a drinking binge together with his wife when three masked suspects shot him.

The victim was taken to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
