ROXAS CITY, Capiz– A 49-year-old farmer was arrested in a gun raid on his house Saturday morning, May 13, at Sitio Pamantawan Brgy. Mianay Ivisan, Capiz.
A .9mm-caliber with 19 live bullets, a .45-caliber pistol, and 4 sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from the house of Nilo Boteja.
The Ivisan police led by Lt. Jason Gimeno, officer-in-charge of Ivisan PNP, led the raid which was authorized by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch Acting Executive Judge Lorencito Diaz.
Gimeno said concerned citizens reported to the police about the alleged illegal gun firing activities of Boteja even in the presence of children in their place.
He said Boteja is on the drug list of Ivisan PNP. Boteja is suspected of selling illegal drugs the reason why they secured a search warrant from the court.
