ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 36-year-old farmer was hacked to death by his two drinking buddies Sunday evening at Barangay San Juan, Jamindan, Capiz.
Joemin Nicolas succumbed to multiple hack wounds on his body.
Investigation by the Jamindan PNP indicated that Nicolas and his two friends identified as Felomino Villeza and Eric Balaquio, also of said place, were seen drinking in a store.
The hacking happened while the three were on their way home.
Villeza and Balaquio used bolos in hacking the victim’s chest, neck, and shoulder.
Some bystanders took the victim to the nearest hospital but he died upon arrival.
The police are still pursuing the suspects who fled.
Investigation is ongoing to ascertain the motive for the incident.
