Farmer in rape charge nabbed
ROCAS CITY, Capiz – A 52-year-old farmer wanted for an attempted rape case was arrested Monday afternoon in Barangay Najus-an, Mambusao, Capiz. ROCAS CITY, Capiz – A 52-year-old farmer wanted for an attempted rape case was arrested Monday afternoon in Barangay Najus-an, Mambusao, Capiz.
Police identified the suspect as Anacleto Lariza of Najus-an who is charged for acts of lasciviousness and attempted rape.
Judge Rommel Lacson Leonor of the Regional Trial Court Branch 21 in Mambusao, Capiz issued the arrest warrant on Nov 23, 2021.
The court recommended P120,000 bail for all cases for Lariza’s temporary liberty.
Meanwhile, the Roxas City Police Station arrested a 49-year-old man for two counts of qualified rape at Sitio Ilaya, Barangay Cabugao here.
The suspect is Raymund Cartujano Tomas of Cabugao.
Roxas City RTC Branch 14 Judge Faustino Valenzuela Roxas Jr. issued the arrest warrant on Nov 25, 2021 with no bail.
