ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A farmer was hacked to death Sunday evening by unidentified suspects in Barangay Artuz, Tapaz, Capiz.
Police identified the victim as Mike Galagate who succumbed to three fatal hack wounds on his neck.
According to Police Captain Bryant Fallera, chief of Tapaz Municipal Police Station, they have three persons of interest in Galagate’s death.
Investigation conducted by Tapaz police indicated that the victim was drinking liquor with two other persons before the incident happened.
The two unidentified drinking buddies left him singing with his mini-sound system.
Police believe that the victim may have been hacked while sleeping.
