BACOLOD City – Police said they already have a lead on the perpetrator who killed a farmer in Barangay Macagahay, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental last Sunday.
The victim was identified as Danilo Bedaja, 63, of the said village.
Based on the investigation, the victim left their house and went to his farm early that day when gunshots were then heard by his son from a distance.
When he checked, he saw his father lying on the ground with gunshot wounds.
Police Major Jovito Bose, town police chief, said that it’s possible that the perpetrator waited for the victim in the area and committed the crime.
Bose said they already have possible angles, but he refused to elaborate further while investigation is ongoing.
