Arrested was Rey Camilo, 41, a resident of Sitio Balabago, Barangay Bongbongan II, Sibalom.
Members of Sibalom Police Station, together with the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-Antique field office and the Antique Police Provincial Office-Provincial Intelligence Unit (APPO-PIU), barged into Camilo’s house with Search Warrant 06-2021-EJ.
Judge Ernesto Abijay Jr. of the Regional Trial Court RTC-6 Branch 10 in San Jose, Antique issue the warrant.
Recovered were a homemade break-type shotgun and 14 ammunitions, a caliber .38 revolver, a single shot 5.56 handgun with 12 ammunitions, and a sling back.
Staff Sergeant Reydem Bross Laplana, Sibalom police investigator, said Camilo’s family claimed that the guns were for their personal protection only.
