Despite the NBA playoffs underway, Utah Jazz star guard Mike Conley did a tough and crucial decision that dealt a large blow to his squad.
The leftie guard left the NBA bubble in Walt Disney World to prepare and be there for the birth of his son.
Reports said that Conley left the bubble on Sunday (Monday, Philippine time) and is expected to come back but with an indefinite time frame.
Stated under the NBA bubble rules is that a player who will be entering the bubble must be quarantined in a specific amount of time so the Jazz isn’t sure if Conley can make it in the nick of time.
The loss of Conley in their playoff campaign would be surely felt after scorer Bojan Bogdanovic was already ruled out of the season after undergoing right wrist surgery.
In his first year with Utah, Conley is posting an average of 14.4 points and 4.4 assists per contest.
