ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 29-year-old farmer and son of a former punong barangay in Tapaz, Capiz was collared by the police for 8 counts of attempted homicide Sunday morning at Poblacion, Tapaz, Capiz.
Garry Catamin did not resist when the Tapaz police served a warrant of arrest while he was spotted walking in the town proper.
Catamin is a son of the former punong barangay of Barangay Nawayan, Tapaz, Capiz.
The warrant for his arrest was issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 20 Judge Judith Orendain Tonogbanua of Mambusao, Capiz on October 30, 2017.
The court recommended a P960,000 bail for all counts.
He is presently detained at Tapaz Municipal Police Station.
