Ex-soldier hunted for shooting two persons

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Two persons were wounded after a retired Philippine Army soldier allegedly shot them Sunday evening at Barangay San Antonio, Cuartero, Capiz.
Police identified the victims as Jason Denosta, 42, and Marita Baladhay, 48, both of said place.
The suspect was identified as Juan Dordas, 63, also of said village.
Police Lt. Jona Casono, deputy police chief of Cuartero PNP, said the incident happened around 7 p.m. when a heated misunderstanding ensued between the victims and Dordas.
The suspect went home and returned with his gun.
The suspect crawled under the bamboo floor of one of the victims’ houses and shot them.
Denosta was hit on the leg while Baladhay wounded his foot.
The two were immediately taken to Bailan District Hospital for medication while the suspect fled.
Police recovered from the crime scene two empty shells of .45-caliber ammunition.
