ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Police on Wednesday filed charges for alarm and scandal against a 73-year-old former mayor of Pres. Roxas town.
Ramon Consing Locsin was released from detention after the case was filed beyond the 12-hour reglementary detention period.
The Provincial Prosecutor’s Office ordered Locsin’s release.
Assistant provincial prosecutor Anatalia Bialen-de Pedro gave Locsin 10 days to submit his answer to the complaint.
Meanwhile, Capiz Police Provincial Office Director Colonel Canilo Fuentes, said the police are readying more criminal charges against Locsin for firing his gun inside a government property early this week.
Locsin was arrested by members of the Provincial Mobile Force Company at the Resources Livelihood Training Center (RLTC), a government facility in Barangay Cabug-Cabug in President Roxas town.
