BACOLOD City – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-6 Special Enforcement Team (SET) arrested a former member of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in a buy-bust at Barangay Singcang-Airport here last Wednesday.
Trisha Galicia is facing charges for sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs after PDEA agents seized from her about 25 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP170,000.
Also seized from Galicia were marked money, cash, brown sling bag and a Nissan Navarra.
Shey Tanaleon, PDEA-6 Public Information Officer, said Galicia is listed as a high-value target, and an alleged member of a drug group here.
Galicia had gone absent without leave (AWOL) from BJMP for a year, Tanaleon also said.
Meanwhile, PDEA agents also arrested Rumolo Hamantoc in a drug bust at Barangay Tangub here last Monday.
Hamantoc allegedly yielded about 15 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP102,000, PHP15,000 boodle money, and marked money.
He is said to be a high value target and top 5 in the target list, according to PDEA-6. He is also facing drug charges.
