Ex-inmate nabbed anew for illegal drugs

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A former inmate was arrested anew Wednesday evening in a drug buy-bust operation conducted by the Roxas City police in Brgy. Punta Tabuc here.

Ryan Agana Aninacion, 40, of said barangay was nabbed after allegedly handing over to an undercover police a plastic sachet of suspected shabu weighing 1.24 grams in exchange for the P6,600 marked money.

Also recovered from Aninacion were two more big sachets of suspected shabu weighing 7.52 grams and 3.44 grams, respectively, with an estimated total value of P83,028.

Police considered the suspect a high-value individual target.

Records showed that Aninacion was arrested for the same offense in 2019 in Kalibo, Aklan but he was released from jail after availing of a plea bargaining agreement.
