ROXAS CITY, Capiz – More or less P2 million worth of jewelries were lost after unidentified suspects ransacked the house of the daughter of former Capiz governor Antonio del Rosario over the weekend at Barangay Tanza here.
The incident was discovered by Suzanne del Rosario-lgnacio and her husband Engel lgnacio after they noticed that the main gate of their house was opened and the light inside their room were already on.
The couple also discovered that the safety box containing assorted jewelries was forcibly opened.
The missing jewelries include earrings, bracelets, watches, and rings.
Police are still looking for leads to solve the burglary.
