ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A man convicted for illegal drug charges was arrested anew in a drug buy-bust operation conducted by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) Friday afternoon at Barangay Tiza here.
Wyxlay Arcangeles, 38, of Barangay Tanque here was collared for allegedly selling and possessing suspected shabu.
Recovered from Arcangeles were 7 plastic sachets of suspected shabu, P500 marked money, P100 personal cash, and a motorcycle.
Police Lieutenant Mark Garcia, PDEU team leader, said the suspect was arrested and jailed in 2016 for the same offense but he was released from jail through plea bargaining agreement.
Arcangeles is presently detained at the Roxas City police station.
Charges for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him today, June 15, 2020.
