EVENING VACCINATION

Bacolod City Mayor Bing Leonardia and City Administrator Em Ang visit the vaccination center at Jollibee-Lopue’s East evening of August 31, 2021.

Aside from Jollibee-Lopue’s East, there is also a vaccination center at Jollibee-Gatuslao branch (along Burgos street).

Both venues help operate the City’s 24/7 vaccination drive.

Marigold Ponce, franchise holder of Jollibee, said the vaccination operations at their stores are in support of the city’s goal to achieve herd immunity.

The City’s 24/7 vaccination drive was launched yesterday at Jollibee Mandalagan in time for the National Heroes’ Day celebration.

The Emergency Operations Center-Task Force (EOC-TF), chaired by Mayor Evelio Leonardia, spearheads the city government’s drive against Covid-19, with City Administrator Em Ang serving as the task force’s concurrent executive director and coordinator of the Covid Vaccination Council (CoVaC).

The EOC’s medical team introduced innovative and aggressive strategies to the vaccination campaign in the LGU’s bid to hasten efforts to achieve herd immunity, eventually paving the way for the VAX-i,  the drive-thru, the “BigJab Weekend” at two major malls, mall-based inoculation, on-site campaign at BPO firms, among others.
