Emperador Inc. has announced its majority acquisition of Destileria Los Danzantes S.A. de C.V. (“Los Danzantes”), a key player in the global luxury mezcal industry, through its Mexican subsidiary, Casa Pedro Domecq.
The acquisition enhances Emperador’s premium spirits portfolio, which includes renowned whisky and brandy brands such as The Dalmore and Emperador Brandy.
Los Danzantes produces artisanal mezcal brands Los Danzantes and Alipus, recognized among the top 10 best-selling and trending mezcal brands worldwide. Its products are exported to over 20 countries and are prominently featured in top global bars.
