ROXAS CITY, Capiz — An electrician was arrested Tuesday afternoon, June 2, for alleged possession of illegal drugs during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Punta Tabuc, Roxas City.
Police identified the suspect only as alias Jun-Jun, 46, a resident of the village.
Recovered from his possession were four sachets of suspected shabu weighing 1 gram and valued at PHP 6,800, along with the PHP 1,000 buy-bust money.
The suspect is under the custody of the Roxas City Police Station for proper disposition.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were filed Wednesday morning, June 3, before the City Prosecutor’s Office.
