Elderly teacher found dead inside home in Iloilo

An elderly teacher was found dead inside her home on the evening of October 25 in Santa Barbara, Iloilo.
The body of Felicitas, 62, a public high school teacher, was discovered on the floor inside her house in Barangay Bolong Este, Santa Barbara.
Her sister, Gertrodes, found the body around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Police said the Rural Health Unit of Santa Barbara informed them about the incident an hour later.
According to her family, Felicitas had been suffering from diabetes and hypertension.
She lived alone and had a history of stroke.
Her family believes she died of natural causes, possibly cardiac arrest.
Initial investigation showed no signs of foul play.
Police said the immediate family declined to have the body autopsied.
