ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 73-year-old widower was found dead inside his room Monday morning, August 17, in Barangay Daplas, Dao, Capiz.
Abadesa Bendoy died alone in his house.
Punong Barangay Erwin Campos of Brgy. Daplas informed the Dao Municipal Police Station about the incident.
Police requested an autopsy on the body of the victim to determine the cause of his death.
Meanwhile, a senior citizen wanted for the crime of malicious mischief was arrested by police Monday afternoon in Cuartero, Capiz.
Ruperto Dadivas of Barangay Agdahon did not resist when police served a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Jerson Almalbis of the 4th Municipal Circuit Trial Court in Cuartero-Dumarao last August 7, 2020.
Dadivas is presently detained at the custody of Cuartero Municipal Police Station in Cuartero, Capiz.
