BACOLOD City – The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) recognized the efforts of eight police stations in their war against illegal drugs, illegal gambling, and operations against wanted persons and loose firearms in the province.
Police Colonel Romeo Baleros, Nocppo director led the Pagkilala Awards 2020 at the conference room of Nocppo headquarters here yesterday.
Police stations in Silay City and Binalbagan town were recognized as top performing stations in the campaign against illegal drugs.
For the campaign against wanted persons, Nocppo commended the personnel of police stations in San Carlos City and Murcia town.
Victorias City Police Station and La Castellana Municipal Police Station were acknowledged for their accomplishment on the campaign against loose firearms.
For the anti-illegal gambling operations, Nocppo lauded the actions of the personnel of police stations in Sagay City and Cauayan town.
