Eight nabbed in drug sting

BACOLOD City – Eight persons were arrested in separate buy-bust operations here and in Negros Occidental from May 1 to 5, with the seizure of P264,860 worth of suspected shabu.

Seven were apprehended in Negros Occidental while the other one was arrested here.

The buy-bust operation here was conducted in Barangay Bata.

For the province, drug bust operations were conducted in the cities of Talisay, Cadiz, Kabankalan, Silay, and Bago, and the town of Hinigaran.

The Bacolod police seized a total of P40,800 worth of suspected shabu here, while P224,060 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated in the province.
