BACOLOD City – Eight persons were arrested while P611,600 worth of suspected shabu was seized in a series of buy-bust operations this week in Negros Island.
Law enforcers busted three persons and confiscated P516,800 worth of shabu on Aug 18 and 20 in Negros Oriental.
Two drug bust operations were conducted in Dumaguete City, and another in Sibulan town.
In the Occidental side, five individuals were apprehended in the cities of Silay, Talisay, and Escalante, and the town of Binalbagan.
Among the arrested persons was the top drug personality of Binalbagan.
The anti-illegal drug operations in Negros Occidental from August 17 to 19 resulted in the recovery of P94,800 worth of suspected shabu.
