Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Grande, city police chief, said the truck loaded with three passengers was on its way home when the vehicle’s brakes malfunctioned.
The 42-year-old truck driver swerved the vehicle and ended up hitting a house at the roadside.
Grande said that four members of the household, including a three-year-old girl and a senior citizen were at home when it happened. They are now okay, he added.

“Ang balay sa kilid highway, tapos natabu-an na sang wala na siya (truck driver) control, didto na nag diretso ang salakyan,” he said.
He said the incident was referred to the barangay for amicable settlement.
