Join ‘Mom C’ Camille Prats—with lovable puppets Benjie and his best friend dog Penpen—in a fun and colorful morning as edu-tainment program “Makulay ang Buhay” returns on air every Saturday and Tuesday beginning August 21 on GMA.
“Makulay ang Buhay” was launched last year and ‘Mom C’ Camille only has fond memories of the TV program.
“Shooting ‘Makulay Ang Buhay Season 1’ was really an experience I will never forget as we shot it during a pandemic,” she shares. “[I am] truly grateful to be part of a program that is not only informative but also teaches Filipino children about the benefits of eating healthy.”
As a mom herself, ‘Mom C’ Camille has brought to the program her experience in raising kids and teaching them about eating healthy. Now that “Makulay ang Buhay” is back, parents and kids will surely enjoy watching it together.
“Children will always have a special place in my heart, being part of a project that teaches our kids to better take care of themselves is really something I am grateful for. Mom C, Benjie, and Penpen are so happy to be back as we read stories, cook our favorite healthy dishes and play virtual games!” she adds.
In each episode, ‘Mom C’ Camille, Benjie, and Penpen make staying at home more exciting and fun as they share engaging music videos, enjoyable stories, as well as games that can be enjoyed by everyone. “Makulay ang Buhay” also revisits the discussions on the effects of gadgets, as well as food safety and the risk of foodborne diseases, giving parents easy to follow tips on how to encourage their kids to eat healthy and well.
Together with Benjie and Penpen, ‘Mom C’ Camille also shares tips on how to address the growth gap years by preparing Nutri-Sarap recipes from local vegetables. Delicious food need not be expensive, and ‘Mom C’ Camille shows how viewers can transform easy-to-source vegetables into mouth-watering dishes that kids will enjoy.
“Makulay ang Buhay” also encourages parents and kids to start the day right by having a healthy breakfast. Find out why it is considered the most important meal of the day.
