Dumarao businessman’s killer at large

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The suspect who shot and killed a 40-year-old businessman on Friday morning, May 17, in Poblacion Ilaya, Dumarao, Capiz, is still at large.
The police are still pursuing the suspect who shot Johnny Habulin of said village.
An investigation by the Dumarao Municipal Police Station indicated that the incident happened around 7 a.m. when the victim stopped his car after bringing his teacher wife to school.
An unidentified suspect on a motorcycle arrived and immediately approached the victim, who was about to close the front door of his car and shot him.
CCTV footage revealed that the suspect was approximately 5’7”, with short hair, and wearing a facemask, black jacket, and long pants.
The victim was immediately rushed to Senator Gerardo M. Roxas Memorial Hospital in Dao, Capiz, by the Bureau of Fire Protection of Dumarao for treatment but was declared dead on arrival by the attending doctor. The suspect fled towards Cuartero town.
