The Department of Trade and Industry recognized outstanding micro, small, and medium enterprises and development partners during the 2025 Presidential Awards held at Heroes Hall in Malacañang Palace.
Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin led the ceremony on behalf of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., with DTI Secretary Cristina A. Roque in attendance.
The Presidential Awards for Outstanding MSMEs and the Presidential Recognition for Outstanding Development Partners honor trailblazing enterprises and institutions that contribute to building a resilient, inclusive, and globally competitive business ecosystem.
“This celebration is not only about recognizing excellence,” Roque said.
“It is about empowering the backbone of our economy — our MSMEs — and propelling them into a digital and borderless future.”
Roque emphasized that under the Bagong Pilipinas vision, DTI would continue to support enterprises of all sizes in achieving a safe, sustainable, and digitally empowered economy.
“Under the vision of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for a Bagong Pilipinas, the DTI will continue to stand with all of you,” she said.
“Each enterprise, regardless of size, contributes to our shared goal of building a safe and sustainable future for Filipinos.”
The annual awards represent the highest national recognition for MSMEs and development partners in the country.
A committee reviewed enterprise achievements across multiple categories to select nine finalists — three each from the micro, small, and medium enterprise levels.
Heaven’s Bakehaus and Enterprises from Region 10 won in the Micro Enterprise Category.
Pasciolco Agri Ventures from Region 4A was named best in the Small Enterprise Category.
Nutridense Food Manufacturing Corp. from Region 1 secured the Medium Enterprise Category award.
In the development partner category, five institutions were honored for impactful programs that advance local industries and innovation ecosystems.
The Local Government of Iriga City received recognition for Project R.E.X. (Reform for Ease and Excellence), a reform initiative aimed at simplifying business processes.
The University of the Philippines-Institute for Small-Scale Industries was honored for its Entrelead program, which provides advisory and entrepreneurial learning support.
Cagayan State University’s Electromobility Research and Development Center (CSU-EMRDC) was recognized for its work on sustainable transportation through the eMRDC Program.
The Provincial Government of Tarlac, through its Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (PGT-PCEDO), was cited for supporting global market access via the International Trade and Investment Mission Assistance Program.
The Davao City Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Inc. received recognition for its business development events that promote trade and industry growth in Southern Mindanao.
Special citations were also awarded to enterprises that demonstrated leadership in digital innovation, sustainability, inclusivity, export excellence, green economy practices, and customer service.
The 2025 Presidential Awards underscored the strategic importance of MSMEs and development partners in the country’s economic development.
With over 99% of businesses in the Philippines classified as MSMEs, the sector plays a key role in job generation, poverty reduction, and inclusive growth.
