Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon M. Lopez installed into office newly appointed Provincial Director (PD) Ma. Dinda R. Tamayo to head DTI Antique Provincial Office through a virtual oath-taking ceremony on Wednesday, Sep. 1.
Tamayo’s appointment as Provincial Trade and Industry Officer was signed by President Rodrigo R. Duterte on Aug 25. Prior to her appointment, Tamayo served as the OIC-Provincial Director of DTI Guimaras Provincial Office from Jan. 4, 2020.

Tamayo replaced DTI Antique PD Mercedes A. Young, who retired effective Sep. 1.
DTI VI Assistant Regional Director Ermelinda P. Pollentes, on the other hand, will serve as the provincial director of DTI Guimaras Provincial Office in concurrent capacity.
Aside from Tamayo, Lopez also installed to their new appointments DTI South Cotabato PD Rictoniel Reginio; Region III Asst. Regional Director Brigida T. Pili; DTI La Union PD Merlie D. Membrere; DTI Leyte PD Araceli D. Larraga; DTI CARAGA-Dinagat PD Elmer Natad; and, CARAGA – Agusan Del Sur PD Jose T. Baron, Jr.
