‘Druggie’ arrested anew in buy-bust

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A suspected drug personality here was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation conducted Monday afternoon by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Unit of the Capiz Police Provincial Office at the Costa Verde in Barangay Cagay here.

Police identified the suspect as Noe Bitoon, 39, of Barangay Tanque Ilaya here.

Recovered from Bitoon were 49 sachets of suspected shabu or crystal meth, P500 marked money, P120 cash, and a motorcycle.

Police estimated the value of the suspected shabu at P36,000.

Bitoon was also on Jan 25, 2018 for the same offense. But he was released after entering into a plea-bargaining agreement.

Charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) will be filed against Bitoon.
