Drug suspect stabbed dead

BACOLOD City – A suspected drug personality was stabbed dead by another alleged drug suspect at Barangay 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental last Saturday.

Killed was Wendell Giganto, 43, of Barangay 3.

Police records showed that the suspect identified as Antonio Cañedo, 29, of Barangay Rizal allegedly attacked the victim with a bladed weapon, following a heated argument between them.

Cañedo fled on foot.

The victim suffered multiple stab wounds and died at a hospital.
