Drug suspect, live-in pal nabbed in buy-bust

ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A drug suspect and his live-in partner fell in the hands of authorities Sunday evening in a drug buy-bust operation at Tambis St., Barangay Tiza here.

Police collared June Laserna, 44, and his live in partner Juvy Apolinario, 52, both residents of Sitio Pagutok Barangay Milibili here.

Recovered from the suspects were 11 plastic sachets of suspected shabu, P500 marked money, a cellphone and motorcycle used in the illegal operations.

The suspects were detained at the police station and were charged for violations of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

Laserna was also the subject of a drug buy-bust operation also in Barangay Milibili here few months ago but he managed to flee.
