Drug surrenderer nabbed anew in drug sting

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A drug surrenderer was arrested anew Thursday evening in a drug buy-bust operation at Brgy. Poblacion President Roxas, Capiz.

Charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 (Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) were filed Friday afternoon against Azur Paloma Macamay of Brgy. Poblacion, President Roxas.

Paloma was nabbed in a drug bust by the President Roxas PNP, Pilar PNP and Pontevedra PNP at Barangay Poblacion, President Roxas.

Recovered from the suspect were seven sachets of suspected shabu with market value of P7,000 and P500 marked money.

Macamay was arrested in 2018 for the same offense but he was released through plea bargaining agreement.

The suspect is presently detained at the President Roxas police station.
