ROXAS CITY, Capiz— A 32-year-old former drug surrenderer was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit at New Road, Barangay Banica, Roxas City Monday.
Police identified the suspect as John Kirk Amoroso, 32, of Bangbang St., Barangay ll here.
Recovered from Amoroso were 11 plastic sachets of suspected shabu, the P500 marked money, a motorcycle, P2,805 cash, and fake money used in the bust.
Amoroso was arrested and jailed but was released from jail through a plea bargaining agreement in July 2019.
Charges for violations of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) will be filed against the suspect who is presently detained at the Roxas City police station.
