ROXAS CITY, Capiz— A 32-year-old drug surrenderer was arrested again by police in a drug bust operation Thursday afternoon at Brgy. Poblacion Ilaya in Panitan, Capiz.
The Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and Station Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) of Panitan Municipal Police Station nabbed Jeffrey Casabon of Barangay Tabuc Norte also in the said town.
Recovered from Casabon were 9 sachets of suspected illegal drugs, P500 marked money, drug paraphernalia and a motorcycle.
According to Police Lieutenant Merry Chris Dela Cruz, acting chief of Panitan police, Casabon was on their list of alleged street level dealers.
Dela Cruz said the suspect surrendered to the police years back after he was tagged in the narcotics trade.
Casabon is presently detained at the Panitan MPS and will be charged for violating Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
