ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A drug surrenderer from Brgy. Cagay was arrested in an anti-narcotics sting operation Wednesday morning at Inzo Arnaldo village here.
A Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) team collared Revy Rodwin Balguma at around 9:45 a.m. yesterday.
According to PDEA-Capiz provincial officer Cornelio Espartero Jr., Balguma yielded three big sachets of suspected shabu, P500 marked money, and a digital weighing scale.
The value of seized illegal drugs is still being determined.
Balguma refused to grant interviews to the media. He is presently detained at the Roxas City police station while the recovered items were brought to PNP Crime Laboratory for examination.
Charges for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 are being readied against the suspect.
