ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Police on Monday arrested a drug surrenderer in a drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Rizal, Pontevedra, Capiz.
Milner Mata, 23, of Barangay Jolongajog Pontevedra town did not resist when the Station Drug Enforcement Units of Pontevedra, Pilar, and President Roxas Municipal Police Stations and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) of Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) collared him.
Recovered from Mata were five sachets of suspected shabu, P500 marked money, and P200 cash.
The suspect is presently detained at the Pontevedra police station while charges for violation of RA9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspect.
