Drug surrenderee charged anew

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A drug surrenderer from Sapian, Capiz was charged anew for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 after he was arrested in a drug sting operation Wednesday afternoon at Barangay Poblacion, Sapian.

Police filed on Thursday the charges before the Provincial Prosecutors Office against Ludivico Lozada, 37, drug surrenderer from Sitio Bangkal Barangay Maninang Sapian, Capiz.

Recovered from Lozada were four sachets of suspected illegal drugs or shabu, P600 marked money, a tricycle, and several drug paraphernalia.

The operation was led by Police Lt. Maria Nanette Puasan of Sapian police together with the Station Drug Enforcement Team from Mambusao PNP.

Lozada was one of the drug surrenderers of Sapian town during the Oplan Tokhang of the national government. He is presently detained at the Sapian police station.
