Drug surrenderee charged

ROXAS CITY, Capiz— Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) were filed against a drug surrenderee on July 1, 2019 before the City Prosecutor’s Office here.

Mike Anisco, 30, of Brgy. Culasi here was arrested afternoon of June 28, in a drug buy-bust operation by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Brgy. Culasi here.

Anisco was arrested along with a minor boy also of Brgy. Culasi.

Recovered from the suspects were the P500 marked money, a sachet of suspected shabu, a cellphone, and P2,300 cash.

The minor, a grade 7 student, allegedly yielded three sachets of suspected shabu, a cellphone, a coin purse, aluminum foil and four lighters.

The suspects were brought to Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital for physical and medical examination.
