ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A drug surrenderee was arrested Saturday afternoon, May 30, in a drug buy-bust operation conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Team of the Dumarao Municipal Police Station at Sitio Tacay in Barangay Asturga, Dumarao, Capiz.
Police identified the suspect only as alias Jaypee, 40, a resident of the barangay.
Recovered from the suspect were a sachet of suspected shabu worth PHP 2,500, PHP 2,400 in boodle money, and PHP 100 in marked money.
Police also recovered a coin purse and three sachets of suspected shabu weighing 2 grams with an estimated market value of PHP 13,600.
The suspect is detained at the Dumarao Municipal Police Station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against him.
