‘Drug dens’ dismantled; 14 persons nabbed

BACOLOD City – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental dismantled two alleged drug dens and arrested 14 persons in separate buy-bust operations in Barangay 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental last Sunday.
The first operation led to the apprehension of alleged drug den maintainer Jemar Flores, and five others.
Authorities seized from them 12 sachets of suspected shabu worth P102,000, drug paraphernalia, and marked money.
It was followed by another operation that resulted in the arrest of suspected drug den maintainer Joselito Gumilao, and seven persons.
Recovered from them were 12 grams of suspected shabu worth P81,600, drug paraphernalia, and marked money.
Drug charges are being prepared by the PDEA against the suspects.
