ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A driver wanted for reckless imprudence resulting in serious physical injuries and property damage was arrested on Jan. 21 in Barangay Poblacion, Dumalag, Capiz, after 20 years in hiding.
Police served the warrant of arrest against the suspect, identified as alias Junior, a legal-aged resident of Barangay San Roque, Dumalag.
The late Judge Rafael Orola Jr. of the 3rd Municipal Circuit Trial Court in Dao-Ivisan, Dao, Capiz, issued the warrant on April 4, 2005.
The court set bail for the suspect’s temporary liberty at PHP 10,000.
The suspect was released after posting bail.
Reports indicate that the suspect committed the crime at the age of 20. He fled Dumalag upon learning about the charges and lived in other areas to avoid arrest.
