Dr. Pacita Gonzalez dazzles at glamorous 85th birthday

Many guests agreed, darlings, that the upscale ballroom of Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Metro Manila had never looked more magical than it did that unforgettable evening.

The occasion? The glittering 85th birthday celebration of the beloved Southern belle and grand dame, Dr. Pacita Trinidad-Gonzalez, who was radiant in a gold gown that shimmered as brightly as her smile.

Graciously welcoming guests were the ever-stylish celebrant’s children: Dr. Charmaine G. Castillo, Dennis Gonzalez, Atty. Raul Gonzalez Jr., and Dr. Gold Gonzalez.

Adding energy and elegance to the evening was none other than singer-songwriter, performer, and recording artist Nichole Laurel Asensio, who lit up the room with her dynamic performance.

The night, mga palangga, was a heartwarming blend of nostalgia and reconnection, as Manila’s notable personalities reminisced and rekindled friendships. The ballroom was perfumed with the scent of lilies and magnolias—pure Southern charm at its finest.

Just days later, the celebration continued as Dr. Pacita T. Gonzalez and daughter Dr. Gold Gonzalez jetted to the City of Love—Iloilo—where they hosted an equally elegant gathering at the Zuri Hotel’s ballroom.

“This is our home city,” Dr. Pacita said, “with my beloved husband, the late statesman and former DOJ Secretary Raul Gonzalez Sr., where we shared our noble charities for the needy Ilonggos—up to now.”
