Iloilo 4th District Representative, Dr. Ferjenel Biron inaugurated several key infrastructure projects and spearheaded significant aid programs over the weekend, aiming to enhance the living conditions and infrastructure in the district.
Residents of Passi City rejoiced as three new bridges were inaugurated in the barangays of Alimono, Bitaogan, and Agtambo.
Biron emphasized the importance of infrastructure in the district’s development.
“These bridges symbolize our dedication to improving the infrastructure for the betterment of our community,” Biron said. “We hope these initiatives will continue to drive progress in our district and enhance the quality of life for our constituents.”
DSWD Aid
In San Enrique town, Biron led the distribution of aid under the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP). The program benefitted approximately 1,350 qualified recipients.
“Our priority is to provide adequate support to our people,” Biron stated. “Through the AKAP program, we can share this care and support with them. We will leave no one behind on our path to progress.”
In Banate, 1,090 residents received assistance under the AKAP program. The distribution took place at the Covered Gym, aimed at supporting the livelihood of the locals.
“We aspire to offer more opportunities to our constituents to improve their living conditions,” Biron shared. “This initiative is part of our broader vision to uplift every resident of the 4th District.”
New Legislative Building in Banate
Biron also proudly presented the newly constructed Legislative Building in Banate, designed to enhance governmental service delivery.
“We are delighted to share and showcase the new Legislative Building,” Biron remarked. “This facility will provide a comfortable and efficient space for our legislative processes, contributing to better governance for our community.”
These efforts underscore Biron’s commitment to driving infrastructure development and providing necessary aid to his constituents, reflecting a vision of continuous progress and improvement in the 4th District.
