DOST Western Visayas offers lab discounts for women

In celebration of National Women’s Month, the Department of Science and Technology in Western Visayas is offering a 20% discount on laboratory testing and calibration services for women clients and women-led businesses from March 4–31, 2026.

DOST Western Visayas said the initiative aims to support women entrepreneurs and professionals by making laboratory services more accessible.

The program also highlights the role of women in science, business and industry, the agency said.

The discount covers services at the Regional Standards and Testing Laboratories of DOST Western Visayas, including microbiological, chemical and shelf-life testing, as well as metrology, or calibration, services.

Women-led micro, small and medium enterprises may avail themselves of the discount by presenting proof of proprietorship when booking laboratory services.
