Ralph Peñaflor stood out for team Medal during their win against RDT after top-scoring the game with 24 big points.
Before reaching the grand final stage, team Medal had to go through team CVV Wheels during the quarterfinal round.
Meanwhile, team Dois had to grind their way out in the semifinals after erasing Onts Café Bistro’s twice-to-beat advantage.
Team Dois clinched two straight crucial wins against Onts Café, 71-66 in Game 1 and 67-60 during the do-or-die Game 2.
It was Joshua Manaay who earned the Best Player of the Game honors during their first encounter after dropping 22 big points.
During the do-or-die Game 2, Tantan Flores stepped up and tallied 21 big points to help team Dois reach a second-straight grand final appearance in the ICBC.
