DOH to Manage Capiz Provincial Hospital

ROXAS CITY, Capiz—The Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital (RMPH) in Barangay Lanot, Roxas City, is set to be managed by the Department of Health (DOH), with plans to convert it into the Capiz Medical Center.
Capiz Governor Fredenil “Oto” Castro recently announced the agreement with the DOH, which aims to enhance health facilities and services for the people of Capiz.
DOH Secretary Ted Herbosa expressed his full support for the initiative during the hospital’s soft opening.
Herbosa emphasized that the project would not only improve healthcare quality but also generate job opportunities for doctors, nurses, and other Capiz residents.
The transition represents a significant step forward in providing accessible and comprehensive healthcare to the province.
