This was confirmed by Governor Esteban Evan Contreras on Monday as he asked the support of Capiceños.
Contreras sent letters to the mayors of Capiz urging them to enhance the implementation of health protocols to lower down COVID-19 cases.
The governor asked each local government unit to put up Municipal Border Control Checkpoints because this is an effective way of preventing the spread of the virus.
He also asked the local officials to always conduct symptoms screening, and impose the wearing of facemasks and face shields in public utility vehicles.
