The Department of Health – Western Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH WV CHD) has issued a public advisory warning against unauthorized monetary solicitations falsely using the name of newly appointed Regional Director Annabelle P. Yumang.
In a statement issued on Feb. 3, the regional health office confirmed receiving reports that an individual or group has been soliciting financial contributions while claiming affiliation with Director Yumang.
The solicitation reportedly included the following banking details:
- Account Name: Ludivina Apao Betoc
- Account No.: 1139-0202-1794
- Bank: Chinabank Corporation
The DOH regional office clarified that Director Yumang has not authorized any form of solicitation for any purpose.
“Director Yumang has not authorized any solicitations in any form or for any purpose. The public is advised to refrain from entertaining any solicitations allegedly made on her behalf,” the statement read.
Authorities urged individuals to report such fraudulent activities to DOH WV CHD via rdo@dohwv.com or records@dohwv.com for proper investigation.

Yumang was formally appointed as the new regional director on Jan. 11, 2025, succeeding Dr. Adriano P. Suba-an.
She previously served at DOH Davao CHD before assuming her post in Western Visayas.
