Residents of Angolo Tiongko Subdivision in Sambag, Jaro, Iloilo City, were blessed with a day of free medical, dental and evangelical services during the “Love in Action – A Parcel of Hope 4” outreach mission held at Creekside Baptist Church.
This compassionate initiative was made possible through the collaboration of several generous partners:
- Philippine College of Chest Physicians – Iloilo Chapter
- Association of Respiratory Care Practitioners of the Philippines Inc. – Western Visayas Chapter
- Philippine Dental Association – Iloilo Chapter
- Iloilo City Anti-Smoking Task Force (I-CAST)
- Western Visayas Medical Center – Departments of Pediatrics and Internal Medicine
The mission addressed the immediate health and spiritual needs of the community, particularly those with limited access to medical, dental and mental health care. Dedicated health care professionals and volunteers provided consultations, treatments and health education.
Dr. Rollin Tabuena, along with Asclepius Drugstore, Med Lab and Allied Services Corp., graciously accepted the invitation to serve and provided free ear piercing and vitamin supplements. Dr. Tabuena’s commitment to compassionate care touched everyone in attendance.
The I-CAST team conducted its KISS Program, an awareness campaign for youth about the harmful effects of smoking and vaping.
Along with medical support, the day included an evangelistic mission, where spiritual advisers offered prayers and counseling, reminding the community of God’s love and the hope found in faith.
The success of this outreach reflected the power of unity, compassion and faith in action. Creekside Baptist Church and its partners are deeply grateful to everyone who gave their time, resources and hearts to serve.
