There is no way for crooks to defend / justify their crookedness, because what defense / justification can there be for crookedness and crooks in the first place? Nothing.
Whatever they have as materials (alibis, videos or fake SOCEs) to blow smoke, go around the law and run around the bush, there’s no escaping for them from being corralled and collared by the long, stretched arm of the law — and the truth, of course, more importantly.
The farther they run, the closer they get to being caught and held accountable, and jailed. The more they cover, the more they expose themselves.
Their roles and holes to pull a fast one, hammer out fraud, violate election laws and rob the nation’s coffers via warped infrastructure projects are becoming clearer and clearer by the passage of days — under the probing eye of Heaven’s 7 archangels. And, voila, that makes it easy and handy to judge their fate and decide their inevitable ending.
The mathematical equation 3n + 1 otherwise called the Collatz Conjecture has never been solved. But when has it been difficult to solve the equation 1 + 1? The more they talk and talk the talk, the more they talk in circles and prove nothing except their guilt. “May katok.” Ah, the parody of “clowns” and clowning politicians and crooks.
From whatever angle we may look at the deceitfulness, viciousness and havoc the cheats and mere chatters had done, spawned and wreaked, there is no ground indeed (whatsoever) for any of them to elude justice and run from the consequences of their piggish, hoggish acts and deeds.
No way. Not even by way of the inane Witness Protection Program (WPP). Safeguard the corrupt from threats and harm for standing as witnesses or for “telling all,” yes! But to exonerate them from their crimes completely for doing what they must, I say NO!
Why make a “star” out of the corrupt, robbers and murderers? The name/title itself, “star witness” is dumb questionable. It makes them even prouder, happy and feeling dignified.
The corruptness and ruthlessness of these crooks are kingly defiant not only of what is human and lawful, but more so of what is divine and sacred. Psalm 103:19. Their bluntness, brazenness is beyond spats on and slaps to the face of the government, the motherland and our people.
It’s their wild, ballistic tornado / torpedo, one “badget” year after another, one election season after another (all in successive, series of blasts) against the very soul of every single Filipino.
Denials, resignations and vows of a “clear conscience” by the suspects/culprits are not equal to justice. Do more than issuing “lookout orders,” dear authorities. Bar them all outrightly (NOW) from leaving the country and so prevent situations from worsening and becoming harder for you to handle, later.
You are not bending the law when you do what is right, wise and just. You are (in truth) enforcing the law to its maximum, optimum strength and muscle – beyond dots, lines and letters. Hear and heed this, dearest Judiciary.
Dear Senator Marcoleta: Stop castigating Jesus Crispin Remulla. Everything he said in the Blue Ribbon Committee hearing was correct, accurate, right and spot on. His only fault was his wrong choice of words, “bend the law,” if taken literally. Ombudsman Remulla did not mean or intend to twist or disregard the law, of course. He meant and intended to enforce law — beautifully, magnificently, admiringly.
Go ahead, dear courts and Comelec, DO IT. “Just do it.” – Michael Jordan. Shoot the ball.
Our people will be jubilant to see all the goons and gangsters in “public service” and private sector get their portion of the whole (in jails) before Christmas day — which they richly deserve for apportioning shares unconscionably to themselves, massive shares of the loot, depravity and putrefaction to the demise and utter decimation of our people and nation.
The fresh news of Alice Guo’s conviction to life imprisonment would surely bring fear in the hearts of outsiders, of oreign gorillas. And the (would be) conviction and punishment of the same gorillas (local version) in the DPWH fiasco would naturally/expectedly bring the respect of other nationalities back to the Philippine nation, government and people which may redound to bullish business activities, tourism, economic recovery, progress, development, and happy ending (finally, at last).
Hallelujah!
Show the world that Filipinos in general are not corrupt by letting the world know that the bad in the disgraced “halloween” flood control magic/vaudeville, and other government fiascos do not comprise and represent the real, genuine Filipino.
But make the atmosphere conducive for foreign investors to come in and venture/engage in business without sacrificing the welfare of the working class. Government corruption is foremost in their minds and concerns. Therefore, solve corruption (first and foremost) before anything else.
Be steadfast and relentless, dear BBM. Sustain your outrage.
To the good men and women in government and media: Give hope the reason to hope. Do the bold move by doing what you must and what is just to liberate our nation from unwanted, baneful leaders. Set free all of us — from all of us, much less during elections. Electoral reforms. Provide space for little people to serve our country. Crush dynasties.
Real heroes like Andres Bonifacio whose birth we are about to commemorate — came from their ranks (the masa) — not from the likes of those whose “memories” and “legacy” are honored by their likes in “holy” chambers, and with gun salutes plus coffin flag draping. But how many have they gunned down, and how much money (people’s money) have they robbed?
When small people violate the law, they go straight to jails, but when the violation (big, blatant and brazen) is committed by the moneyed and “biggies,” the influentials, scoundresl, famous, avaricious and soulless, they go straight to the halls of power, untouched and in perpetuity — proud and unashamed. Best actors.
Time to correct and straighten out what is wrong / evil in our government and what is stupid / foolish in Filipinos as a people and voters. Wisdom, righteousness and pure, unadulterated justice cry out in the streets.
March on, my dear countrymen.
“This is what the LORD says: Do what is just and right. Rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one who has been robbed…” – Jeremiah 22:3
Transform the country.
Raise the flag.

There is a certain kind of silence that settles after applause. It is not emptiness. It is reflection catching up.
